Article 7.02(5) – Minimum light transmission of wheelhouse windows
Wheelhouse windows must exhibit a minimum light transmission of 75%.
Question:
How can the inspection body determine the wheelhouse windows' minimum light transmission?
Answer:
When assessing light transmission the inspection body can assume that:
a) clear white glass wheelhouse window panes exhibit a light transmission of 75%;
b) green tinted wheel house windows exhibit a light transmission of at least 60%;
c) wheelhouse windows tinted another colour exhibit a light transmission of less than 60%.
